Congressman Forbes, THANK YOU for standing up and speaking on behalf of all CHRISTians through-out this nation. You should run for President & put the Judeo-Christian Beleifs back in our Gov’t. Our nation was once a great & Godly nation, but now we have become the nation that forgot God. It is sad, very sad. God Bless you Sir. May our Lord Jesus Christ keep you & yours forever surrounded within His hedge of protection.

I too would like to thank-you for speaking out. It’s a historical fact that our nation was based on Christianity. We became a great nation under God. I don’t know how president Obama spoke for al ofl us saying that we aren’t a Judeo-Christian nation. As you stated, when did we stop being one? It is very sad that people are denying that our nation is based on God. We need more people like you in our government. Thanks for your support and may God bless you. Vickie
It truely frightens me to think the comander and chief of our great nation chooses to ignore how and why we became so great. Our country was estabilished under Godly principles and thus had his protection as well. To deny him is a very foolish act. I am so proud of my Congressman for taking the stand that he has taken in boldly proclaiming what any seeker of historical fact will clearly find to be an evident truth: that this nation can not truthfully be called anything other than one whose roots and history are solidly built upon the bedrock truth of the Bible. In other words, we are without question a Judeo-Christian nation. Once again, thank you Representative Forbes and may your legislation be overwhelmingly passed in Congress. God bless you!

Why does he refer to “Mr. Speaker” instead of “Madame Speaker”? Is there any chance that this video is from an earlier time?
Isn’t it interesting that so many of our patriotic songs are no longer sung…. maybe because so many of them refer to God and the preservation of this land through Heavenly help.
Here’s a verse from our national anthem: “Oh thus be it ever when free men shall stand, Between their loved homes and the war’s desolation; Blessed with victory and peace, may the Heaven-rescued land Praise the Power that hath made and preserved her a nation. Then conquer we must, and our cause it is just; And this be our motto: ‘In God is our Trust’.
It seems that many of the leaders of our nation have turned their backs on God. Heaven help us! If only there were more men like you in Congress! God bless you! Oh long may that star-spangled banner yet wave, O’er the land of the free, and the home of the brave.”
