I recently heard Larry Danaher – one of America’s premeir law enforcement experts -speak at Saint Leo’s College in Florida. I was surprised when he spoke for about 45 minutes on the need for law enforcement to share information via the internet. To paraphrase Mr. Danaher, ” Only when you know where you came from, can you know where you are going.” Law enforcement is a technology heavy occupation and changes quickly from year to year.
