Ok. Who are your picks for the Super Bowl?
January 12th, 2009 by Scott

I must admit that I am a little surprised at the final match ups for next weekend.

I never would have expected Arizona to make it this far with a surprising game over Carolina, and as far as I am concerned Baltimore did not do anything spectacular. They showed up. Tennessee kicked their own butts.

Pittsburgh simply out played, in all aspects San Diego. The Philadelphia New York match up, while a decent game was marred by numerous fights and scraps between the two teams. I was incredibly disappointed in both teams for their demeanor. Very un-professional. I hated watching the game for that reason.

So now we have 4 teams left. Arizona v. Philadelphia and Baltimore v. Pittsburgh.

What would I like to see?

Arizona surprise me again and beat Philadelphia and of course I want Pittsburgh to beat Baltimore. Out of the four teams left, I only despise one and that is Baltimore. They can just go home.

Arizona v. Pittsburgh in my “Game of Hope” with Arizona coming out on top.

In reality however, it will probably be Philadelphia and Baltimore, though the Baltimore Pittsburgh game is rather difficult to call. Philadelphia and Arizona will be a no brainer.  It’s Philadelphia.

Who will be in the Super Bowl?

    East vs. West!

I gotta say, I am sorta pulling for Donovan McNabb (not the Eagles). Five NFC championships is simply incredible… and mostly on McNabb’s performance.

Andy Reid deserves a pickup too.

…still hate the Eagles though. :)
