Back in July, CUIL debuted and absolutely blew up. It was totally worthless as a search engine. There were several other articles written across the Internets about the same thing.
I haven’t really thought much about it until this morning.
So I decided to do a search on CUIL for something that has been all over the news and blogs locally here in Hampton Roads. I searched Louise Lucas.
The screen shot at the left is what came up. Exactly nothing relevant.
I sure hope their investors are pounding them, because as yet I haven’t seen anything useful come out of that website.
Cuil is a failure. When I first tried them out, the results I got were not impressive. I have a better luck searching with http://find.com than cuil.com
