Brian Gardner’s Revolution 2 – INCREDIBLE Premium WordPress Themes

Brian Gardner, the designer/author of the now famous Revolution series of premium WordPress themes has started a new venture.  Revolution2.

Revolution2 is taking premium WordPress themes to a new level offering them in open source GPL licensing.  From the Theme FAQs:

WHAT KIND OF LICENSE DO THE THEMES HAVE?
The Revolution Two themes have been made available under the GPL license and are in total compliance to standards set forth by the authors of that license as well as with WordPress. Theme support will only be given to those who purchase a Revolution Two theme packages.

I can tell you this.  Brian is one of the most generous and gracious folks I have ever “met” online.  He worked with me in a venture with my employer that resulted in us using the Revolution Magazine premium WordPress theme on our site.

After having gone “into the code” on that particular theme I can tell you his work is absolutely TOP SHELF.  Once you get the hang of how the theme works, it is a piece of cake to work on.

And with the release of Revolution2, I am seriously considering a Pro License for a couple of the themes to use on client websites.

Great job guys…  just pure awesome and cutting edge.
