Eric Cantor calls them out…

In case you haven’t noticed, there’s been a re-birth of the conservative movement in the last few days.  People are tired of paying through the nose, for fuel and everything else that relies on fuel to get to retail (read that as EVERYTHING).

Yet during this crisis, where are the Democrats?  At home.  Not working.  Selling their books.

But worst of all, they skip out of town for five-weeks without allowing a single vote or amendment that would meaningfully alter the imbalance of supply and demand that has triggered the spike in oil prices. This is a dereliction of duty of the gravest magnitude.  -=SOURCE=-

Dereliction of duty.  For a military member, or anyone with any sense of duty what so ever, those are words you never want to hear.  Dereliction of duty Democrats.  Pelosi, Reid, and any others that simply aren’t there.

How sad.  I wonder, how she (Pelosi) can look her constituents in the eye and say “buy my book”, when they are wondering where their next gallon of $4 gas is going to come from.

Go back to work Democrats!

  1. The #dontgo tag used on Twitter was drawing some flack from liberals on Twitter and Friendfeed. I think it is a great idea. Sort of the opposite of MoveOn.org. At least Obama is paying lip service to domestic drilling expansion. Most other Dems are not. Do they really think hybrid cars are going to make a real impact any time soon? Can’t afford to even buy one.
