I have been involved with the City of Portsmouth for over four years now. As a Police Officer you are involved in many situations where people say things that are rude, impolite, hateful, abusive and obscene but what I heard at the Portsmouth City Council meeting on the night of the 22nd just left me in awe. There is the video from the City Council meeting, plus 3 of 4 angles of video taken from the HRT Bus Mayor Holley hit in Newport News.  In one, you can clearly see the car hit the side of the bus.

Additionally, the Virginian-Pilot has an editorial that is accurate and pointed.

Worse, anyone – like Holley – who thinks that building separate facilities are an answer to centuries of racial divisions is someone lost in the politics of another age. Racism is hardly a thing of the past. It never will be with attitudes like Holley’s.  -=SOURCE=-
